Melissa and Yulia did a phenomenal job with my hair and make-up for my wedding!

They did my bridal hair/make-up, my bridesmaids hair/make-up, make-up for one of my groomsmen, and hair/make-up for the mother of the groom and my mom. Not only was everyone thrilled with their final looks, it was so fun to spend the morning with Melissa and Yulia, they were amazing company. They listened to what everyone wanted and executed their visions perfectly. They made sure everyone felt beautiful and that we stayed on schedule. I did a trial run with them which also went great. Everyone's hair and make-up lasted from the morning until past midnight! Even with fine hair, nothing moved an inch, and was picture perfect after a long night of dancing, some wind, and taking on and off my veil. If you need hair and make-up done in Asheville, look no further!

Beautiful hair and makeup!

I chose Pop of Color because after talking to Melissa on the phone, I felt comfortable that they would be able to provide beautiful hair & makeup for a group that rarely wears makeup and wanted to feel our best selves without feeling overwhelmed. It was truly a joy to watch each of my bridesmaids, mother, and MIL see their hair and makeup for the first time- everyone was thrilled with it and also felt comfortable asking for something different, touch-ups, etc. Everyone's hair and makeup held up through many hours of ceremony, dinner, and dancing. Full disclosure- the only hiccup was that scheduling my hair/makeup trial was a challenge and required lots of follow-up over a number of months, then, a scheduling issue the day of accidentally cancelled my trial. It all worked out though as Melissa moved her schedule around to accommodate me and everything went off without a hitch. I think it says quite a bit that Pop of Color able to adapt to the situation and make it work (in life & in weddings, things go wrong all the time, but the response matters!). I would absolutely recommend them to a friend.

Best Hair and Makeup Team in Asheville!

Melissa and Yulia were the absolute dream team for doing our makeup and hair for my wedding day! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Pop of Color and how amazing they were to work with for my wedding! Melissa, who is the owner of the company, is absolutely fabulous and is so on top of everything that she has going on! From the minute I spoke with her on the phone about my vision for my wedding hair and makeup, I knew she would do an amazing job! Melissa recommended that Yulia do my hair for the wedding and she do my makeup. To have the owner of the company do your makeup was the best feeling in the world and I trusted she would do the best job! They also came highly recommended by our photography team, Jenny and Joe, for staying on time and getting everything done efficiently the day of the wedding! My mom and I did a trial run with Melissa and Yulia a few months prior to my wedding, which I would recommend to everyone! It was so nice getting to meet both of them ahead of our wedding day and also getting to do a trial run of both hair and makeup so then we had all the kinks worked out before the wedding day, and my hair and makeup looked even better the second time around they did it on the wedding day! They were able to complete my bridal hair and makeup, my mom’s hair and makeup, and my other 6 bridesmaids hair and makeup in less than 7 hours which is absolutely amazing! Everyone’s hair held the entire night, never fell out or was out of place, and no one’s makeup came off or ran off their face the entire night! To say this was the best experience was an understatement! Melissa and Yulia are not only amazing at their jobs, but also amazing people that we feel so fortunate to know now and hopefully will run into again in the future for other events in our lives! Thank you so much to Melissa and Yulia for making everything perfect! We are forever grateful to you all and hope to work with you in the future for other special moments down the road too!
